OUR STORY

We are two people, Sandrine and Falko, two hard workers, two lovers. Two nature lovers, who after working for 20 years between Paris and Geneva, decided to change our priorities, to let go of everything, the noise, the stress, the pollution, the nice salaries too, and to focus on us, our real need, to be together in the green and to enjoy our children (twins born in 2015)
Our dream was to have our own hotel or guesthouse. In 1999, I, Falko (yours truly), took the opportunity to work in a stock exchange company in Paris. I had just finished my studies in hotel management at the Vatel Institute in Bordeaux and I was about to leave to work in a casino hotel in Las Vegas... a childhood dream, far from the world of finance! So when I accepted this proposal (out of challenge and curiosity) I promised myself that I would return to the hotel business when I turned 40.It is in this stock exchange company that I met Sandrine, in 2002In 2015 our two daughters were born. This long awaited arrival, not without difficulty, changed our lives. In 2016, while visiting La Roche Chalais, the village where I was born and where I spent all my weekends and holidays (my grandfather, who died two months before the arrival of the twins, was the village doctor), we came across this house for sale. My grandfather had always said to me: "If you ever have to buy a house in this area, this is the one and not another one...". We visited it and ... we fell in love immediately! We left everything behind and embarked on this new adventure. For us it was the ideal place for a big home, a place where we can share, where we can laugh, rest, and entertain.
Why Villa 2 Pas Sages? Because the place is called Le Gué (the passage), our guests are passing through and our two daughters are far from being wise :) Well, it's not all good news, we've been bothered by the covid for 2 years, we were flooded in February 2021 ... but we're still here, to welcome you.Our desire, what we really want at the Villa 2 Pas Sages? To please you, to allow you who spend your daily life working, in the transport, in the noise and in the stress, we propose you a break, at home, in a soothing, restful place, in the countryside and at the water's edge...
